INTERACTIVE MEDIA DESIGNER
Job Description:
Interactive Media Designer to create content for Reactrix's visual display system.
Reactrix is a startup company based in San Carlos. Reactrix is a breakthough visual display system that responds to multiple people instantly and in real-time with dramatic visual effects and entertaining gameplay, to deliver an engaging experience that people not only remember, but seek out.
For advertisers, Reactrix is an advertising breakthrough that draws people in the the displays to "direct" the ad with their movement, literally immersing themselves in the message, close to the point of purchase.
Reactive is a full body reactive environment for a captivating and fun experience!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with clients, creative, and software development to create visual experiences and interactive applications on our unique platform
- Hands-on production with extremely visual and detailed design elements
- Work with software development team to further enhance platform capabilities
- Implement and test new interaction design paradigms to create new and alternative experiences
- Interact with internal and external parties to implement custom initiatives and campaigns
- Film and edit video demonstrations and presentations as appropriate
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be extremely creative, hardworking, and detail-oriented
- Strong proficiency in Photoshop, Flash (action script), etc.
- Familiarity with HTML code
- Must have 3+ years in user interaction design
- Technical savvy and experience working with clients
- Team player with ability to have fun while maintaining professionalism
- Experience in with user research testing plus
- Knowledge of animation, video effects, photography, and video editing is a plus
- Knowledge of Mac and Linux environments is a plus
- Experience in non-standard user interaction design is a strong plus
