...Studio sda are now recruiting a creative product designer/design engineer to join the design team. The position is perfect for a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years experience in a relevant industry.
You'll be assisting the team with concept development, generating 3D CAD models, and using your knowledge of manufacturing processes to help create products suitable and ready for manufacture.
What you'll need (essential)...
...A high degree of sensitivity with regard to shape, form, balance, proportion, materials and colour, and a good portion of common sense.
Through examples of your own work, be able to demonstrate superb drafting skills, and enjoy sketching and drawing, along with the ability to look outside ones own field of reference, in order to consider a brief or product from the view of a client or user.
Hopefully you'll have...
...Experience with Solidworks 2006, along with the ability to design products suitable for manufacture, as well as being articulate, well presented, thoughtful, creative and passionate about what you do.
