Architectural Access ScholarshipsEvan Terry Associates, P.C., a leading firm with a national practice in the fields of Architectural Access and Universal Design, is offering three $500.00 scholarships to upper level students in accredited schools of architecture who are interested in improving access to buildings and facilities for people with varied abilities, throughout their lifespans.
Interested students should write a brief description of their specific interests, any educational or practical experience with access or universal design projects while in school, and any personal or volunteer experiences that indicate their commitment to the subject.
Also describe any planned or ongoing studies during the upcoming school year(s).
Submittals may be up to 2000 words with no more than 10 pages of graphics, if applicable.
Selection will be based on the depth of understanding of the concepts of universal design and accessibility, breadth of experience(s) shown, and effective creativity of solutions.
Questions and submittals should be forwarded to arrive by September 16.
