The final date for receipt of expressions of interest is 1 December 2005.
A short list of up to ten architect firms will be selected for each of the two locations and a detailed competition brief provided by 13 January 2006.
Competition submissions are due by 14 April 2006.
Each short listed firm will be paid an honorarium of €10,000.
The winning submissions for India and Poland, as selected by an independent, UIA approved jury, will each be awarded a prize of €50,000.
The winning submissions will also be developed for construction with Living Steel and local supply chain partners beginning mid-2006.
Applications are invited from architects or consortia who wish to be considered for inclusion on the short list for the design and procurement of the first group of two demonstration buildings.
A second competition and housing construction is scheduled to begin in 2007.
