Design 21 V : International Contest for Young DesignersWithin the framework of the "Design 21" programme, launched since 1995 jointly by UNESCO and Felissimo Corporation (Japan), a new international contest entitled "LOVE / Why?" is organized for concepts and items that are part of today and tomorrow's lifestyle. Entries are invited for everyday items for home, fashion, new high tech and low tech essentials of today's lifestyle, such as tools and gadgets including communications device, items for home office, travel goods, food, etc
The theme "LOVE / Why?" is chosen to stimulate reflection on the need in the present world for design/concepts that provide a sense of connection, understanding and harmony - between persons, between people and everyday environment. It reflects an underlying objective of "Design 21" to create and maintain human connections through design.
SCOPE Entries are invited for everyday items for home, fashion, new high tech and low tech essentials of today's lifestyle, such as tools and gadgets including communications device, items for home office, travel goods, food, etc...
