The Smart Environments Awards

In the 21st century a first-rate interior must not only excel in beauty but be in tune with society and the earth.

It must be light on the environment and firm in its mission to serve the humans who will use it.

The Smart Environments Awards recognize distinction in interiors that integrate design excellence, human well-being, and sustainability.

The competition is open to all interior design and architecture professionals practicing legally in their jurisdictions.

Interior projects completed after January 1, 2002, are eligible.

Winners will be announced at NeoCon World's Trade Fair 2007 in Chicago and may be asked to present their work at industry events throughout the year.

The winning projects will be considered for publication in Metropolis magazine.
