Designing Designers 2008Year after year, the Designing Designers Conference strives to tackle different issues bearing on international design debate.
This year's theme "Offices and workspaces for knowledge workers" will bring together academics, researchers, thinkers, designers and companies with the aim to incite discussion on the future of office space, and to explore the innovative ways in which "knowledge workers" have integrated lifestyle with workspace interaction.
On a broader level, this theme serves to highlight the changes that are taking place in the milieu of global design.
The 9th Designing Designers conference in 2008 represents a unique opportunity to delve into scenarios affecting the future of our offices in trying to understand and predict future trends.
Design professors are also invited to showcase the results of their educational endeavours, including case studies in applied design solutions that may also include collaborative efforts with professionals, producers or research centers.
