Street Design and Placemaking: a Masterclass for ManagersThis series of regional masterclasses has been developed by CABE and partners to support public sector managers responsible for delivering change in their area.
The masterclass is designed to highlight the links between design quality, funding and performance and focuses on the delivery of quality through integrated teams as outlined in the recent government guidance Manual for Streets.
The event will also explore the role of key processes and tools such as Building for Life in delivering quality under pressure.
The masterclass will be delivered by a panel of acknowledged experts in street design familiar with the challenges that local authorities face.
It aims to provide an interactive forum for the discussion of the latest principles and good practice, how to overcome barriers and how to make change happen.
