Archinect Introduces Architectural T-ShirtsArchinect, a popular architecture - centric website, has just launched it's first line of designer t-shirts for the Winter 2005 season.
"Architecture Sucks" is the message that M1/DTW'S Christian Unverzagt conveys in his shirt. A message that only the most devoted architects can relate to. Keen eyes will recognize the shirts reference to historic rock critic Lestor Bang's infamous "Detroit Sucks" shirt, made famous in the movie "Almost Famous".
Peter Rentz' "Assembly Robots" tees are our personal favorites. Each robot is constructed entirely out of Renaissance - eracathedral floor plans. If that isn't cool enough, there's a male and female version of these t-shirts, with each robot being fully anatomically correct.
Finally, Clancy Pearson, a member of Archinect's editorial team, drafts up a psychedelic graphic explosion of colors. A tape roll, mask, blood splatters, no explanation necessary. Very cool.
