Groundbreaking for Foster and Partners First Residential Development in MalaysiaThe recent groundbreaking ceremony for the Troika Development marks the start of construction on Foster and Partners first luxury residential scheme in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre, at the north-eastern corner of the KLCC Park.
The twisted geometry of the three sculptural towers is the result of a process-driven design concept that maximises the dramatic views of the Park, the Petronas Towers and the city.
The unusual external structure, consisting of a number of slender sheer walls, supports a series of stacked blocks that subtly rotate to frame the prime outlook for each apartment.
The three residential towers - of 38, 44, and 50 storeys respectively - will be the tallest residential development in Malaysia.
Sky Bridges link the three towers at Level 24 to create a sky lobby, with extensive views of the emerging skyline, high above the roofs of the neighbouring buildings.
At ground level, a 4-storey perimeter building frames a tranquil, car free courtyard at the heart of the development.
Shops and offices in this low building also benefit from the views and the calm atmosphere of this landscaped space.
The roof of the building is shaped to provide a variety of recreational facilities that are easily accessed by residents.
