New Headquarters Campus for Takeda Pharmaceuticals North AmericaThe Chicago office of Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates (TVS) Architects was chosen to design a new headquarters campus for Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, Inc., in Deerfield, Ill.
The 70-acres property is located at the northwest corner of the I-94 and Lake-Cook Road intersection in Deerfield.

TVS Principal Neale Scotty worked with his design team to develop the initial design concepts as a combination of form and function that will ultimately provide flexibility and expandability for future Takeda growth.
"Initial concepts for phase one include a sweeping arc of office buildings that embrace the site's naturally landscaped front lawn," Scotty said.
"Takeda's new headquarters campus will be cohesive in design and specifically developed to encourage collaboration and productivity within a sustainable building environment."
The landscape design and site improvements are intended to achieve the goal of LEED certification for the project.
