The few walls are concrete. Like them, many of the finish materials are raw. But on the floor, quite the opposite.

Because at Bar, sustainability reigns supreme.
"When we chose products for our new space, the environmental aspect of the materials was very important" says Teresa Ruiz, project manager for the Bar office build-out.
"For the floor, we wanted style, but also sustainability.
The decision was very simple.
A tailored, sophisticated broadloom featuring recycled content and renewability."
More than 50% of Bar's staff are Leed-accredited professionals, the highest ratio of any firm in the Bay Area.
And even better, the Bar studio itself is up for Leed certification as well, a designation made possible in part by choosing recycled content and closed-loop recyclable materials.
