15C Club in Colorado by Way ArchitectsSecluded yet lively, this 557 s.f. extension to a downtown martini / cigar bar lends an exclusive feel to an otherwise eclectic hang out.
Through use of bold colors, eye-catching lighting, fun art and sleek-lined furnishings, Way Architects introduced a contemporary twist to a traditional speakeasy interior.
The intimate and inviting space, incorporating a dramatic focal point fireplace, remains interactive with the original bar yet gives opportunity for non-smoking usage and/or private parties.
Architectural elements similar to those found in the existing bar, such as the coffered ceiling and columns, are repeated in the new addition to unify the spaces.
Although the office and restroom required by the building code and owner limited the public space, through creative planning the architects achieved seating for an additional 25 people.
