A Thriving ZF Lemforder Opens in Newton, North CarolinaDeMattia Group, one of the Midwest's leading architectural, construction management and real estate development firms, is proud to announce the completion of the new suspension components manufacturing facility in Newton, North Carolina for ZF Lemforder, the car chassis division of ZF Group, bringing 200 new jobs to the area during the next few years.
DeMattia provided architectural, construction management and development leasing services for this new 155,220 SF facility on a 33 acre site with 136,000 SF of manufacturing space and 19,220 SF of office area.
The building also contains a spacious showroom/lobby and has 11 truck docks and 3 grade level bay doors.
The building design with its curved front and arched entry was well received by the city and conceals the industrial features of this manufacturing facility by helping it blend into the landscaped surroundings.
This is the sixth building project DeMattia has done for ZF, a leading worldwide automotive supplier of driveline and chassis technology.
