"There was a wide variety of projects selected from the over 400 entries the jury reviewed for 2006 2006 Institute Honor Awards for Architecture".

"The diverse background of the jury insured that our selections appealed to a wide range of architectural design.
In our deliberations and site visits there was the realization of the special qualities, vitality, and importance that great architecture brings to our society.
The projects selected for the 2006 honor awards are a celebration of our profession's continued vitality."
