Framework: The Architectural Photography of Henk SnoekHenk Snoek (1915-1980) was one of Britain's most accomplished architectural photographers, working for architects as diverse as Basil Spence and Yorke Rosenberg and Mardall.
Born in Holland, he studied at the Hague School of Art and his photography reflects the Bauhaus principles on which the school was run, being characterised by a strong sense of drama, simple, forceful lines and high contrasts.
This exhibition draws on his archive of 40,000 negatives in the RIBA British Architectural Library Photographs Collection.
The exhibition will take place between 10 March - 22 April 2006.
