Architecture in ScotlandMarking the publication of the third biennial review of architecture in Scotland, this exhibition focuses on recent developments within the context of place making.
A variety of categories are explored including urban, rural, heath and settlement, and featured buildings include the Chipperfield BBC Scotland HQ (Glasgow), Gokay Deveci's A'Chrannag on Rothesay, Bute, Robin House in Balloch and the Pier Arts Centre Stromness, Orkney.
For the exhibition, which is designed by NORD/ISO the creation of each building is documented and presented as commissioned films displayed in a bank of monitors.
Architecture in Scotland 2004-6, a Lighthouse publication, with foreword by Dr Stuart MacDonald includes essays by, amongst others Riccardo Marini (setting the context), Angus Farquhar (public design) and Craig Dykers.
The exhibition will take place until 20 July 2006.
