Green Sandwich Technologies, a leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly SCIPs (Structural concrete insulating panels) building systems, announced that William McDonough, the three-time presidential award winner for sustainable design, has joined the Company's advisory board.
According to McDonough , "I have searched a long time to find a structural building product like Green Sandwich's system, which is both environmentally friendly and extremely durable. As the first structural building system that is able to meet the Cradle to Cradle design protocol, I see Green Sandwich as a critical component of the projects that I am involved with."
McDonough recently introduced the company to BASF, with whom Green Sandwich recently signed a joint marketing agreement. BASF's environmentally friendly Syropor EPS foam is now specified as the main component in Green Sandwich's panels.
"We are honored to have Bill McDonough as Green Sandwich's environmental adviser. His vision and leadership in sustainable design continues to benefit many people and places around the world," says Alan Finkel, Vice President of Business Affairs for Green Sandwich Technologies.
