Architects design museum buildings as sculptural piecesMinneapolis architects Janis LaDouceur and John Barbour have designed a Hubert Humphrey museum in Waverly, a tugboat museum in Two Harbors, the Richard I. Bong World War II Heritage Center in Superior, Wis. and a viewing building for the International Wolf Center in Ely.
Not all of these designs have been built, but all, LaDouceur said, are like her children -- she has her heart invested in them.
