The Design Science LabA problem-solving boot camp based on visionary inventor and architect Buckminster Fuller's tenet that "ordinary" people can tackle seemingly impossible tasks.
The Design Science Lab is a space where individuals can transform from passive consumers of information to engaged citizens, empowered by learning how to apply Buckminster Fuller's Design Science methodology.
Trained by experienced facilitators, Design Science Lab participants will develop real-world strategies to solve our most pressing local and global problems in the areas of energy, environment, health and education.
The Design Science Lab 2006 will took place between 19th and 28th July 2006 in the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
