 Visalia Art League Seeks Work from YoungstersIn the belief that children are our most valuable natural resource, the Visalia Art League is welcoming young artists by waiving the entry fee for our Annual Membership Show.
From July 1 until Aug. 8, our show will be displayed at the Arts Visalia Visual Art Center. This year, the league will add a student class to our show's categories, which include painting, water media and other media.
The student division will be considered as a separate category. Ribbons and cash prizes will be awarded for the overall "Best of Show" entry, first, second and third places and honorable mention in each category.
While the student category will be aimed mostly at those of high-school age, the Visalia Art League is inviting younger artists to submit their best work.
