MOCA Hosts a Special Talk with Japanese Artist Takashi MurakamiJapanese artist Takashi Murakami returns to MOCA for a special talk about his acclaimed exhibition MURAKAMI, on view now at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA until February 11, 2008, before the exhibition departs for an international tour.
Murakami will discuss various aspects of the exhibition and his practice.
MURAKAMI features key selections from Murakami's oeuvre spanning his career, including political works from the early 1990s, large-scale otaku-inspired figure projects of the late 1990s, and the ongoing evolution of Murakami's anime alter ego.
