10: The Chris Orr Years 1998-2008The Royal College of Art presents 10, an exciting new print exhibition from 17-26 October.
The exhibition is to honour Professor Chris Orr MBE RA who will be leaving his position as Professor of Printmaking at the RCA after ten successful years.
10 will feature work by ten distinguished artists who have each been invited to make a limited edition original print especially for the event.
The artists are: Paula Rego, Michael Craig Martin, Tracey Emin, Chris Orr, Norman Ackroyd, David Mach, Boyd and Evans, Bryan Kneale, Stephen Chambers and Maurice Cockerill.
Also on display will be prints by College staff who have taught alongside Professor Orr in the Printmaking department, and ten successful graduates of the course from the last decade.
10 offers an impressive span of artists working in a wide variety of styles and techniques used within printmaking today - from a woodcut by Tracey Emin through to a virtuoso digital print by Michael Craig Martin.
