Hotel Pulitzer Suite is Transformed to an Improvised Workshop for Artists and CreatorsThe painter Jordi Sarda, Jorge Sanz, Luis Vidal, Silvia Prada, Leopoldo Pomes and the award winning Pati Nunez are some of the creators from diverse disciplines that are participating in the "Pulitzer Experience", an initiative where they were asked to create a personal work inspired in the atmosphere of the Pulitzer's welcoming suite.
Proceeds from the sale of catalogue, of the same name and the works themselves will go towards a charity project in Madagascar.
The first works have already been received from some of the 20 invited artists and creators.
Prior to September each and everyone of the invited artists will be able to experience the hotel Pulitzer's suite to soak up the atmosphere and find inspiration in Barcelona.
The hotel has offered up this space to the artists so that they may create a specific work for the project.
Each artist brings their distinctive style and creativity to life through the creation of some very personal works.
The works range from video art, photographic compositions, pictures, illustrations, music, a cocktail to a story.
The Hotel Pulitzer will hold a presentation event of the collection of art works and the catalogue next November.
The works will be available for sale, as will the catalogue.
The profits from the sales are destined for the Sira Mamy project developed by the Yamuna charity, that is specialized in various social projects and in particular offering career development opportunities in the hotel industry for women from disadvantaged backgrounds.
