DesignArts Utah '04: Design of All KindsAn exhibition highlights the work of eight Utah designers working in a variety of design fields. "DesignArts Utah '04: Design of All Kinds" opens Friday and runs through July 30 at the Rio Gallery, 310 South 455 East, in Salt Lake City. A reception for the designers and the public is Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Regular gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Designers included are Robert P. Bissland (graphic design), Joseph Christensen of OGIO International (golf bag product design), Christopher Gleason (furniture design), HFS Architects (architectural design), Sheryl Gillilan Melton (textile/quilt design), Kinde Nebeker (graphic and public art design), Design Engine Inc./Robin Peng (toy car product design) and Carol Sogard (graphic design).
