OFFensiva 2005: III International Film FestivalIII International Film Festival OFFensiva 2005 will begin at the 8th of December and will have place till 12th of December2005 in the 'Warsaw Cinema' in Wrocław (Big and Small Hall) and in the 'Discussion Film Club' at the Wrocław Polytechnic . Festival is for open people who prefer artistic impressions of different types. Especially for these who perceive different kinds of art. Organizers prepared about 6000 places for fans of the ambitious cinema. Festival Program has in its offer 3 film cycles(Competition -Contest, Festivals, Retrospective)
The most important part of the OFFensiva is Contest during which films will compete in 4 categories : narrative, document, video clip, video art. New category has been introduced in this edition of the OFFensiva-the video clip. Not only festival has had lots of fans of this kind of films but also factories connected with the industry were interested in this kind of entertainment. The festival's mission is to support aspiring, independent and non-commercial filmmaker. The Organizers seek to promote primarily young filmmakers and to popularize the most original production techniques and conceptions in the short-feature film.
