Photographer Chris Pieretti's Unabridged Look at the Downtown New York Art Scenere:Vision, a 176-page visual tour of New York City's cultural underground scene photographed and produced by New York-based photographer Chris Pieretti, is being launched this month.
A pre-launch party for re:Vision is being held on Thursday, November 17th, 2005 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Dactyl Foundation for the Arts on 64 Grand Street, New York City.
The book is a rare opportunity to get close to some of New York's true independent artists who live, work and create on the streets of New York.
Limited edition, signed prints from re:Vision's first printing will be on sale for $85 each.
All proceeds will go towards the future private printing of re:Vision.
All prints bought at the event entitle the buyer to receive a signed edition of the re:Vision book.
re:Vision highlights New York's most notable downtown artists, who were documented over the course of one year as photographer Chris Pieretti followed the process of their art as it moved from vision to reality.
