Students Win 1 Million Dollars in Arts AwardsThat's the sound that will ring through the air Saturday evening at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as students ranging from the 7th-12th grades receive more than $1 million in awards and scholarships.
The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards is hosting its annual national ceremony June 14, celebrating its 80th anniversary.
Actress Ana Gasteyer, best known for her roles on NBC's Saturday Night Live, will present the awards.
Nearly 300 students, plus teachers, families and friends will be attending.
