The Genius of Leonardo at Rahmi Koc MuseumThe Rahmi Koc Museum, with the sponsorship of Arcelik and the assistance of event organisers The Partners, is bringing a major exhibition about the scientific and engineering achievements of Leonardo da Vinci (1452 - 1519) to Turkey.
The exhibition, which will run from 1st November to 31st December, consists of 40 full-sized reproductions of machines envisaged in the famous manuscripts (Codices) of Leonardo between 1478 and 1513.
The majority of the items will be on display at the Rahmi Koc Museum in Haskoy, Istanbul: a few objects will be also on view at the Cengelhan Rahmi M. Koç Museum in Ankara.
All are in working condition, and the majority can be operated by the visitors themselves.
Thus the exhibition will be cultural, educational, and fun, thereby meeting our mission both to educate and entertain the public.
