Annette Taylor-Anderson graduated from The University of East London (UEL) in 2005. She has a BA in Textile Design and Surface Decoration.
Founder of ATADesigns in 2006, Annette has showcased her work at various trade shows such as New Designers "One Year On" held at the the Business Design Centre, Islington, 100% East "Talent Zone" at the Truman Brewery, Bricklane, Pulse at Earls Court, and Maison et Objet in Paris.
Her work has generated a lot of interest from both the press and public in the UK and International market. Her work has appeared in several magazines such as idFX, Elle Deco, France, Plaza magazine, Design Week, Textiles, New Designs magazine, WGSN website and Trendease International website.
Annette uses her textile design and technical skills to develop series' of unique patterns, and then transforms them digitally onto Wallpaper, and Interior/Exterior Ceramic Wall Tiles. Annette works with a lot of texture and also incorporates her fine art skills into the process to produce paintings and wall hangings. Her inspiration is drawn from her everyday surroundings where she is always in search of new ideas. Employing captured photographic elements in the creation of these new pieces.
Her main focus is on products for the wall space, specialising in cutting-edge print designs for the interior market. Providing Architects and Interior Designers with innovative design products such as Wallpaper and Interior/Exterior Ceramic Wall Tiles, and Digital Prints on canvas or fabric. Sourcing design ideas for site specific projects for the home or corporate setting. Such as, offices, hotels, bars, restaurants, shop windows, architectural spaces and more.
Annette is currently researching her design ideas for potential future projects such as rugs and carpets. A product she would love to bring to life, using her unique designs.
