Wall Paper Design Contest
 Jannelli&Volpi presents the international competition "Wall Paper Design Contest": the object is to create wallpaper to be interpreted just like furniture around which to develop the concept for of a hotel or bed & breakfast room.
The star of the design contest, which will attract designers, architects, photographers, stage designers, students and creative minds in general of any age and nationality - is undoubtebly "Wallpaper On Demand" (WOND), a revolutionary new technology that allows absolute freedom in the customization of wallpaper.
The projects must be submitted by 14 September 2007, and will be judged by an exceptional jury composed of jurors specializing in different areas: Mauro Jannelli, jury chairman; Paola Barzanò, colour designer; Luca Ballerini, editor in chief, Label; Markus Benesch, designer; Stefano Caggiano, in charge of design section, Exibart; Manuela Ciffarelli, Material ConneXion Milan; Alberto Coretti , editor in chief Urban Magazine; Angelo Figus, fashion designer; Diego Grandi, architect; Vito Intini, technical expert in coverings; Stefano Maffei, OPOS e POLI.design; Cristiano Seganfreddo, fuoribiennale.org; Sonia Tasca, Joevelluto, The best solutions will be unveiled at an exhibition to be held in October.
The prizes amount to 5.000 euro to be divided between the five winning projects. Each participant can present up to five projects for consideration. The winners will also have the chance to participate in the development and the realization of one of the new WOND (Wallpaper On Demand) collections specifically designed for hotel rooms.
