Tenth Annual Apple Design Awards

Apple is now accepting entries for the Tenth Annual Apple Design Awards, recognizing technical excellence and outstanding achievement in software products and solutions for Mac OS X.
To celebrate our tenth anniversary, the Apple Design Awards 2005 will boast the biggest prize packages ever and winners will be announced-and winning products showcased-in a special ceremony at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2005 held this June in San Francisco.
Apple Design Awards 2005 Categories This year's contest rewards outstanding software design on Mac OS X 10.3.x Panther, in the areas of platform innovation, user experience, technology adoption, performance optimization, and use of Open Source. The software categories are:
--Best Product New to Mac OS X --Best Mac OS X User Experience --Best Mac OS X Entertainment Product --Best Mac OS X Scientific Computing Solution --Best Mac OS X Server Solution --Best Use of Open Source --Best Mac OS X Student Product
And new in 2005... We are also pleased to reward outstanding early adoption of the innovative technologies in Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger with an additional category:
--Best Use of Mac OS X Tiger Technologies*
Apple Design Awards 2005 Prizes The 10th Annual Apple Design Awards feature bigger prize packages than ever before! The winner in each category receives: a 17-inch PowerBook G4, a Dual 2.5 GHz Power Mac G5, an Apple 30-inch Cinema HD Display, an ADC Premier membership, and a MacWorld 2006 marketing package. The winning Student developer wins a 17-inch PowerBook G4, a full conference pass to the 2005 WWDC, airfare to the WWDC 2005, and lodging during the week of the 2005 WWDC.
