The red dot is thus a distinctive tool for designers and agencies to communicate their achievements to potential clients.
The competition to receive the red dot for outstanding communication design has tradition. Awards Ceremony and Special Exhibition The Awards Ceremony on 23 November in the Philharmonie in Essen marks the Festive Finale of the competition. Subsequently, all awardwinning works will be shown until 1 January 2006 in a special exhibition in the red dot museum at Zeche Zollverein. This year for the first time, all works awarded the red dot: best of the best for the highest design quality will be presented in the red dot museum for the period of one year.
