Graphis, The International Journal of Visual Communication, was first published in 1944 by Walter Herdeg in Zurich, Switzerland. In 1986, B. Martin Pedersen was given the opportunity to purchase Graphis, has since further developed the magazine and books and relocated the headquarters to New York City. Graphis has upheld its reputation as the premier magazine covering graphic communications worldwide.
Each issue of Graphis Magazine contains articles on the most accomplished individuals in Design, Advertising, Photography, and Illustration. Graphis is published six times per year and has a global readership.

GRAPHIS GEOGRAPHIC JOURNALS CALL FOR ENTRY DEADLINES: NEW Graphis Geographic Design Journal / Deadline Extended to June 23, 2005 (The Americas - US, Canada, Central & S. America) Up to 1,000 entries can qualify for acceptance in this journal. Now up to 1,000 entrants per geographic area will be accepted and presented in each of our new Journal issues. Each Country and/or State will have at least 1 -2 pages. The Countries or States with more or better work will be allotted more pages. This will give a global perspective on the quality of work being produced in each discipline.
