Observeur du Design Award
Dear all,
Each year, the Observeur selects more than 150 outstanding products from our everyday environment designed, manufactured or marketed in France.
The selection covers consumers goods, packaging, graphic and commercial design.
This selection has received international recognition and the Observeur is endorsed by ICSID. It has been travelling to 14 places abroad in the last three years and the selection acts as an ambassador of innovation through design.
A part of its selection will represent France at the World Best Design Exchange 2005 in Seoul. This great exhibition will gather products selected from 15 of the most prestigious national Prizes selections.

(foreign entries might register until Aug. 15).
Students projects (at the level of prototypes) might be admitted if the jury considers them outsanding (design for all, eco design are usually underepresented)
Figures from last year's edition :
120000 visitors, 167 products, 1 bilingual catalogue, 10 travelling exhibitions in France and abroad, 5 TV and radio reports, more then 40 press coverage.
