Blob Master Design Challenge for Kids
Apple, ATI, Group Lotus and Cosmic Blobs are sponsoring the "Blob Master" design competition, which is open to kids between the ages of 7 and 18. Through Oct. 15, contestants are encouraged to use Cosmic Blobs software to create a concept car and enter it in the competition. All the entries will be judged by a panel of engineers and designers who work for Group Lotus
Test your skills as a Cosmic Blobs creator and automobile designer in the Concept Car Blob Master Design Challenge for Kids. We want to find the next great car design that can stand up to the world class style of the Lotus Elise.
Boys and girls from 7 to 18 years old are invited to try their hand at building the next great car with the most powerful and entertaining 3D graphics software for kids ever invented. Stretch your imagination to create a stylin' street machine, a thundering racer or an elegant cruiser.
It's free to enter and three winners will receive an amazing prize package that includes an Apple iPod, an ATI video card, and fantastic Lotus and Cosmic Blobs prizes.
Contest Overview:
1 - Download the free trial of Cosmic Blobs, if you don't already have it. (45MB)

2 - Download the Starter Car from which all entries must be made. (400KB)
3 - Double-click the 'Blob Master Starter Car.blob' after you have installed Cosmic Blobs and rev up your creativity engines to add fenders, windshields and spoilers with a flashy paint job as imaginative as can be.
4 - Submit your entry in "Enter Here" section where it will be judged by Lotus car designers on originality, style and creativity.
5 - One winner from each of the contest age groups will be selected. The three age groups for the contest are:
7 - 9 years old
10 - 13 years old
14 - 18 years old
6 - This contest is only open to residents of the United States and the United Kingdom.
7 - One entry per person is allowed. Entries for people 17 years old and under must be submitted by an authorized parent or guardian. Certain rules and restrictions apply. Please see full contest rules for details and eligibility.
