Horizon Interactive Award 2006
In January of each year, the Horizon Interactive Awards receives hundreds of entries from all over the world. A panel of industry professionals, from diverse multi-media, graphic design and marketing backgrounds, review the entries to determine the work that is to be recognized. Entries are given either a Gold, Silver, Bronze, and in some cases honorable mention award distinctions. All Gold winners are eligible for the Best of Category and Best of Show award (the Horizon Interactive Awards highest honor). Winning a Horizon Interactive Award is a symbol of great accomplishment. Winning entries have demonstrated excellence in creative concept, artistic excellence, and technical execution. The Mission Giving Credit where Credit is Due!The Horizon Awards were created to recognize outstanding achievement in the field of Interactive Media. The awards focus on multimedia firms, advertising agencies, in-house communications and marketing departments and freelancers who strive to create innovative, interactive solutions for themselves and for their clients. The competition is limited to firms, agencies, and individuals that earn less that $5 Million in annual revenue or an in-house department that has an annual budget of less than $1 Million for multimedia projects. As is often is the case, many smaller, interactive media firms and individual developers create outstanding regional and local solutions that never receive the national or international publicity they deserve. It is the goal of the Horizon awards to shed the spotlight on those efforts. Defining Excellence The competiton strives to recognize the best blend between creative concepts and technical execution with a special emphasis on graphic design, artistic expression and user experience. Entry Deadline is January 31, 2006
