Countdown to the worldwide student car design competition begins The fourth Interior Motives Design Awards 2006 competition has officially started! Student registration is now open.
All the competition information is online¬ - including deadline details and project briefs. Course leaders will also be receiving the Interior Motives Design Awards 2006 student manuals, at this time as some colleges have included the competition within their tuition programmes ". "Already the amount of student requests from around the world has been overwhelming," says Alex Campos, Marketing Manager for Interior Motives. "Students seem genuinely excited and are already chasing us to open registration! This year we are expecting to get even more entries and hoping that this year the quality will again improve. As we speak Ryan Borroff, the Editor of Interior Motives magazine is finalising the judging panel, which will again be formed by senior design figures.
Finalists will be announced at the Interior Motives Design Awards ceremony to be held in Paris on September 29, at the same time as the Paris Motor Show.
This year two new sponsors have joined. Faurecia will be the Premier Sponsor, while 3M will be Gold Sponsors of the 'Best Innovation' Award category. Both sponsors join Volkswagen who have confirmed that they will return to sponsor the 'Best Use of Technology' Award as they have for the last two years.
