MINES International Design Intelligence Awards is open to designs and designers worldwide focusing on Furniture Design.
Awards
Gold, Silver & Bronze winners will be awarded with trophies & cash prize. Other winners will be awarded with certificates
Gold Award - USD 6,000.00 Cash + Trophy + Certificate + Prizes
Silver Award - USD 4, 000 Cash + Trophy + Certficate + Prizes
Bronze Award - USD 2, 000 Cash + Trophy + Certificate + Prizes

The judges will reserve the exclusive right to change the awards without any prior notice.
Judging
All entries will be judged by a panel of judges that comprise of distinguished designers with international acclaim. The judging will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 5th March 2006.
The judges reserve the exclusive right to disqualify any entries.
By submitting an entry form, entrants agree to abide by whatever decision made by the organizer and the judging panel.
Results Announcement
All award results will be announced at the Award Presentation Gala Dinner to be held in MIECC in 10th March 2006. All winning entries will be showcased at the Midi Convention , Mines Exhibition Centre from 10th to 11th March 2006 and published in the MIDI Design Annual Books.

Furniture Design
Preparation and Mounting
Prepare all entries in the formats specified at:
Category & Submission Format.
Online registration
All entrants MUST go to the official website www.midiconvention.com/register and register online your account by following the steps below:
- Fill In your Reference Online
- Fill in all your information in our online forms and click send, our webmaster will send you your reference number to your email once we received your particular and your reference number are to be billed into the pdf printed forms you downloaded from www.midiconvention.com.
- For error submission kindly email our webmaster with your reference number with the error forms. And the error reference number will be deleted.
- We had the rights to disqualify entrant if the reference numbers are found to be faulty.
Labeling
Go online to our homepage www.midiconvention.com to download the Work Labels for each entry by clicking the PDF download [Print Label] button. After you have registered online. Stick the corresponding label to the bottom right corner at the back side of each entry.
Mounting
Artwork are to be printed in A3 ( 42cm x 29.7 cm) sizes with Black Mounting Board and all side to be leave 3 inch border space and cover with a layer of paper.
Imagery Preparation
Prepare and save a high-resolution imagery (300dpi - JPG / TIFF ) of each entry in a CD-ROM. Please provide high quality imagery, which will be used for publication of the Midi awards book. Mark the entrant name and reference number (will be send to your email, once you registered online) Number/s of the submitted works on the CD-ROM. Attached together with the Artwork to be submited.
Payment ( For Non- Convention Ticket Holder )
Once you have submitted all your entries details online, the required total payment for your submission will automatically display on your homepage under the "Payment Information" ?eld. Print out a "Payment Summary" and attachment the label with your cheque or payment bill.
Entry Fee Waiver ( For Convention Ticket Holder)
Entry fees waiver are eligible for MIDI Convention Pass Holder Only. Kindly photocopy the receipt given and to be attached at the back of the mounting board work to be submitted.
For those who purchase online, kindly use the proof of purchase and print it out and to be attached at the back of the mounting board work to be submitted.

Submission
Pack the entries BY CATEGORY with suficient protection. Clearly mark the corresponding outside each pack. Group all the packed entries, CD-ROM (pack it together with the entries) and send to the collection centers in the period as specified below
