"New Walls, Please!" Competition

The German Design Council is partner and organiser of the competition "new walls, please!".
In December 2000 the A.S. Création Tapetenstiftung has been founded. This not-for-profit trust, set itself, alongside other goals, that of developing wallpapers with supporting apprenticeships in wallpaper design. One of the first activities is the competition 'new walls, please! - key ideas and creative design for interior walls'. Since 2002 the competion takes place annually and is intended to become a long-term communications medium for developing wallcoverings and the wallcovering branch of that industry.
