Theme: "Pin-up" - Dress up the Pin-up for a glamorous party
She is the princess of the Pin-up's and celebrates the triumph of her femininity in an elegant and sexy way. When she enters the room, she seduces with the glamour of Hollywood.
Triumph International, the global market leader in high quality woman underwear, continues the company's tradition in supporting innovative fashion designers and emphasizes the significance of innovative fashion design for the enterprise.
The theme of this year's award "Pin-up" is focused on creative and innovative design of women's wear that celebrates the beauty of luxurious lingerie: bra and corsage as visible and integral parts of clothes. Fashion design between hiding and promising female attractions.
Seven designers have the great opportunity to present themselves to an international audience. The criteria of the fashion award are the quality of the execution under the aspects of creativity, innovation and the possibility for realisation. 7 designers will be nominated by a jury of experts for a public online-voting, which determines the 3 finalists. At the Triumph International Fashion Design Gala the designs of the finalists will be presented. The winner of the Triumph International Fashion Award 2005 will be selected at the Gala by media representatives.
The winner of the Triumph International Fashion Award 2004 has been „House of Diehl". The concept-fashion duo from New York is the darling of the international press: Vogue, New York Times, iD-Magazine, The Washington Post, Women's Wear Daily, etc. After sensational fashion & art events „House of Diehl" has made costumes for Gwen Stefani's (Gwen acts as Jean Harlow in „The Aviator" with Leonardo DiCaprio) actual music clip „Rich Girl", camera David LaChapelle. The other two finalists, Aleksandra Paszkowska (Poland, lives in Belgium) und Elodie Sturniolo (Italy/Switzerland) have been selected from more than 140 designers from Berlin, New York, Vienna, Geneva, Florence, Shanghai, Teheran and Buenos Aires.
The total value of the prizes, including international presentations, represents 92.596 Euro. That makes the Triumph International Fashion Award 2005 one of the most valuable fashion design prizes.

Application requirements: 1. Sketches or photos of women's wear under the theme "Pin-up" for the 4 models (2 bras, 2 corsages) of the current Triumph International collection presented at www.fashionoffice.org/triumph/models.htm 2. Brief description of each of the 4 designs (fabrics, materials, description for production, etc.) 3. Brief designer biography and portrait photo (photo optional)
Criteria of selection: Quality of the execution of the theme under the aspects of creativity, innovation and the possibility for realisation
Process of selection in 3 phases: 1. The 7 Selected: an international jury of experts nominates 7 designers among all participants, who fulfil the requirements 2. The 3 Finalists: online voting on www.fashionoffice.org/triumph with weekly ranking to determine, which 3 designers are most adored by the public 3. The 1 Winner: live voting at the Triumph International Fashion Design Gala by media representatives
Terms of participation: In submitting the documents, information and designs the designer is declaring that he or she disposes of all the necessary copyrights, titles and all other rights, and that he or she consents to the material and information submitted (photos, copy, designs, sketches, etc.) being published, produced and processed for publication and promotion. Documents and materials submitted by snail mail will not be accepted or returned. The participant declares that he or she will produce the selected design as a prototype in time, if he or she will be selected as one of the three finalists. The prototype (European size 38) has to be sent to Triumph International AG, Wiener Strasse 121-123, 2700 Wiener Neustadt, Austria until 31. August 2005. Presentations, public relations, etc. are not replaceable in cash. Without possibility of recourse to legal action.
