Reinventing with Design 2007
The Design Management Institute (DMI), will be a lead partner in the Reinventing with Design (ReD) conference on June 13 at the Hong Kong Design Centre. Partnering with DMI is the Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design, and the Hong Kong Design Centre. ReD is one of the HKDC's major annual programs.
The Reinventing with Design Conference will focus on the strategic value of design to business and various design management issues - ranging from integrating design into the core of business, the management of design talents, brand management, to measuring design effectiveness. This international cross-collaboration will bring together world-class experts to an emerging Hong Kong market, and will increase the dialogues and opportunites of design in business.

The Conference marks the beginning of a long-term partnership between the HKDC and DMI and signifies Hong Kong's important role as a design management hub in Asia. An optional supplemental seminar, Creating the Perfect Design Brief, instructed by Peter Philips, will follow the conference on June 14. Attendees will learn how a well-crafted design brief can enhance creativity, shorten the time necessary to complete a design project, and practically guarantee quick approval of a design solution.
