2005 Promax&BDA Conference
Title designer/filmmakers Kyle Cooper (Spider-Man 2, Donnie Brasco, Mission: Impossible) and Pablo Ferro (Stanley Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove) along with the esteemed architectural designer David Rockwell (Kodak Theater, the Mohegan Sun casino) will headline this year's design sessions at the 2005 PROMAX&BDA Conference, June 21-23 at the Marriott Marquis at Times Square in New York City.
The announcement was made today by Brett Ashy, Senior Vice President, PROMAX&BDA.
"We are thrilled to present such a high caliber list of speakers who can provide thought-provoking insight and inspiration to our design members," said Ashy. "In the world of film, both Kyle Cooper and Pablo Ferro have produced a body of amazing design concepts and opening credits for a string of blockbuster movies and the stories they will share are sure to inspire our membership and provide valuable take away for all conference attendees. As head of the Rockwell Group, David Rockwell has garnered accolades for a signature design strategy that seduces, entertains, informs and inspires. More exciting plans are in the works for the 2005 conference and will be announced in the coming months."
Additionally, Pablo Ferro will be honored with the BDA Lifetime Achievement Award which includes an intimate on-site interview with the filmmaker and a comprehensive overview of his exceptional body of work to date.
