First Mexican International Design Conference
The Iberoamericana University in Mexico is holding the first international design conference in Mexico. The theme for the conference is "Design Perspectives: Envisioning design for the 21st century." This major event will be held at the University Iberoamericana (Campus Mexico City), where the first studies of design in Latin America started 50 years ago.
The aim of the conference is to bring together ideas from the entire design community (professionals, researchers, educators, graduate students, students etc) in order to explore, visualise, argue and draw the possible future of design.
This conference is an open forum for designers from all disciplines (industrial, textile, graphic as well as new media design). Everybody is invited to submit papers and contributions for the conference.
The conference "Design Perspectives: Envisioning design for the 21st century" will focus on four major topics:
- Design Innovation - Design Education - Design Management - Design Research
