designEX - 360 Degrees of Design in 2006

The Southern Hemisphere's largest, most prestigious and influential forum for contemporary design, designEX, will return to Sydney in April 2006.
The event, which attracted nearly 21,000 people in 2005, will see Australia's top designers and interior experts meet for three days to see the latest trends and innovative products available in the world of design. The 2006 exhibition will feature a number of exciting highlights:
--Young designers will display their work at the prestigious exhibition space, Latitude, giving them a chance to present their work to the industry's leaders.
--The big names of top end interiors will come together to create an area of elegance and style at Infinity, which will also feature an exclusive cocktail bar.
--The Interior Design Awards will be held on the 7th of April to coincide with designEX.
--The Interior Trends Café will display the latest opulent fabrics as part of Interior Trends Market Week.
--The latest ideas and trends in the world of design will be discussed as part of the International Seminar Series.
--Australia's trade event for building and architectural professionals, Form & Function, will be held in conjunction with designEX.
--lightEX will showcase the latest products in lighting design.
--The national conference of the Royal Institute of Architects will be held to coincide with designEX and Form & Function.
