Architectural Art
Fine architectural design inspires high quality artworks. The artworks may be constructed as elements within the building or may be in the more traditional realm of the fine arts of paintings, drawings or sculpture. This show combines both to demonstrate that they share common ground and are worthy of public display in an uplifting and honorable manner, for your enjoyment.
The exhibition features Walter Gordinier, Susan McCracken, Katherine Linn, Christian Culver, Kenneth F. vonRoenn, Jr., Arthur Stern, Christina Lihan, AIA 2005 Design Winners.
Art of Landscape The exhibit inside the pergola is a sample of a blending of the fine arts and the applied arts, similar to Architectural Art. The Foundation for Community Arts wants to expand this exhibit with more artworks and present this in an appropriate venue in the coming months.
Presented by The Foundation for Community Arts with the Georgia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
The exhibition can be viewed until March 30, 2006.
