SVA Presents: Disarm...New Year, New Use
"Disarm...New Year, New Use"
This exhibition, curated by Kevin O'Callaghan, features M-16 rifles that have been transformed into nonviolent and even humorous objects. 3D Design students in the BFA Advertising and Graphic Design Department used replicas of the now-ubiquitous firearm to make everyday objects, ranging from a baby carriage and grandfather clock to a beer keg and a Foosball table.
