Dwell On Design Conference
A Weekend of Conversation Coming to San Francisco September 15-17 2006
Allison Arieff, Editor-in-Chief of Dwell magazine, has announced plans for Dwell on Design, a weekend exploration of the most engaging design issues of the day -- coming to San Francisco September 15-17, 2006.
Considering architecture through the lens of prefab, sustainability, affordability, and urban design, "Dwell on Design" will take place at the Concourse Exhibition Center during the heart of AIA's third annual Architecture and the City month.
"We are so excited to be hosting this conference, particularly in our home town," says Arieff. "There is so much excitement in the world of modern architecture and design today. Dwell on Design offers a great opportunity to bring everyone together to explore all of the possibilities."

Exhibitions and Activities The Concourse will also host a variety of industry exhibitors and offer additional activities throughout the weekend, including a community-based program on Sunday, September 17.
Headquarters for AIA's San Francisco Living Home Tours Weekend For the first time, Dwell on Design will be the headquarters for AIA San Francisco and the Center for Architecture + Design's San Francisco Living: Home Tours weekend, September 16-17, part of the organizations' third annual Architecture and the City program. For three years Dwell and AIA San Francisco, and now the new Center for Architecture + Design, have partnered together to showcase this unique tour weekend, which allows the public an inside look into the world of distinctive architectural styles, neighborhoods and residences in San Francisco.
