After last year success we are calling on up-and-coming designers from all over the world to participate in the second annual international fashion show that will take place Friday, May 11, 2007 in the Garment District in downtown St. Louis.
Pronto Fashion Show provides a great opportunity for new designers to create awareness about their products within the huge potential market that the mid-west means, with the presence of retailers sponsors and media and the possibility to access to the best designer title and the cash price that goes with it to help the winning designer with his or her career.
To be considered for selection, please send a brief bio and eight, ten photographs of the collection you would like to have in the show as well as an application fee of $50 before December 15,2006 by mail to:

Selected designers will be notified by January, 10 2007. After selected, and to ensure participation in the show designers will have to pay a fee of $100 before March 15 that will cover administrative and production costs, models, fittings, profile information in the program and invitations to retail buyers, media and publics. Designers will also receive a DVD of the show and an invitation to the VIP party that will be held after the show.
All outfits presented in the portfolio must be ready for model fittings by March 26. Models sizes go from 2 to 6 so please take that into consideration when submitting your garments for fitting.Please keep in mind deadlines at all times. Designers are responsible for meeting these requirements at risk of being dismissed from the show.
Five experts from the fashion and retail industry will participate as judges in the show and will decide who is awarded with best new designer title and the cash price. The Best Model will also be selected and featured in Pronto.
Part of the proceeds from Pronto will go to these organizations: Dwight Davis Memorial Tennis Center in Forest Park and Saint Louis University Center for Social Justice.
