Dinamismi Museali Xth Edition
Dinamismi Museali (DM), the festival of contemporary art, is at its Xth edition.
A Ten-year exploration and research to promote cultural changes. A Ten-year focus on the dynamics of innovation, on the dialectical tension between the global and local dimensions, on the centre-periphery relations. A Decade of contemporary trends: design, electronic art, graphic arts, visual communication, electronic music, fashion, philosophy...
In order to celebrate its Xth edition, the Festival, usually announced at the end of August, will be on 8th 9th December, 2007. A winter edition to anticipate the new Festival plan.
The festival, called SuperDutch, because entirely devoted to the Dutch cultural dynamics and creative process. Today, Holland is considered the most advanced centre for creativity trends. Desecrating, provocative, brilliant, Dutch contemporaneity represents an unequivocal mark of truly creative genius adopting a new way of thinking rather than providing a chance to look at usual things in a different, new way. Holland is showing us that our times' competitiveness challenge can be promoted only by giving creative class real support through the valorisation of human and social resources.

Lots of new generation artists and designers are participating: 165over90; Atelier nl; Hannah Bonjer; Daphna Isaacs Burggraaf; Sigrid Calon; Thomas Eurlings; Knust - Nijmeegse Universale; Ika Kuenzel; Guus Kusters; Roger Martinez; Sabijin Peeters; Scholten and Baijings; Ninna Margret Thorarinsdottir; Jelte van Abbema.
The choice of the artists is the result of a journey in Holland made by the festival staff and organized by the Dutch Embassy so to establish a contact between the Italian management and the Dutch creative context.
Dinamismi Museali is developing a participatory research process meant to promote innovation in different areas. As a territorial branding, in 2001 Dinamismi Museali allowed Lanificio Leo to be finalist in the prestigious Guggenheim Prize "Impresa e Cultura" and to win the "Cultura di Gestione Prize".
A ten-year recognition over the geography of the "immaterial" which is also the geography of emerging places and spaces, an action-oriented strategy to fully developed cultural districts. Dinamismi Museali network represents a little cultural district as well where the artists' creativity can be shared with the entrepreneurs' vision. Dinamismi Museali is a network made up of a number of owners of a small business: the Lanificio Leo, the most ancient Calabrian woollen mill, the Rubbettino and the Camillo Sirianni Industries, Lacosa and Inrete (communication agencies) and Aleph Arte (a cultural association).
